Video

The Endless Story was created by our partners at TreeHouse Creations (THC); credits for filming, production and distribution belong to Buntaro and Masataka Kiyono of Topanga Works. It is a video-journal of THC’s trip to Bali and Bunaken in Indonesia, which documents the genesis of the tree house project partnership.

The Bunaken Treehouse Project is set to launch in Fall 2009. The treehouse will be built by Treehouse Creations, from Harajuku, Japan, using the existing treeline on the island out of recycled and bamboo materials. It will be situated at height next to the Bunaken Artisan Village and Youth Camp facilities.

The treetop facility will provide a shaded welcome and lounge area for all, as well as office space and sleeping loft.

For more information on Tree House Creations and to view their previous treehouse projects, check them out at www.treehouse.jp. And be sure to stop in and say hi at the Hideaway if you’re in Harajuku!

During our second visited to the see THC at Hideaeway, Michael Lawrence, representing RACI, a meeting with Taka was filmed with Taka to catch up on the details of the initiatives in Bunaken.
